The President's Dare Devils
The President’s Daredevils Delivery Boys PART 1 Narrative Feature / Historical Action Drama Status Script with extensive professional coverage and development earning 12 contest accolades including Semi-finalist (Los Angeles Screenplay Writing Competition) and Top 10 Finalist (Emerging Screenplay Writer’s Competition). Detailed treatment completed for sequel, Part II Rescue at Reims (see below) Logline Based on historical events surrounding the Zimmerman telegram, the special skills of a motorcycle daredevil are brought into play when he is recruited by President Woodrow Wilson to carry out a dangerous undercover assignment into Old Mexico that will change the course of World War I. Story Synopsis The small American border town of Columbus, New Mexico is home to Kahalan Frost (30) who operates a Western Union telegraph and delivery service during World War 1. A motor-cycle mechanic and daredevil performer he has lost an ear from a crash while doing a political fund raiser for President Woodrow Wilson. Elected on a platform of keeping America out of the war, Wilson is under increasing pressure from the sinking of American ships by German submarines to join the conflict. Kahalan is committed to saving his younger half-brother, precocious African-American, Sonny (15), who is stricken with tuberculosis. Sonny’s aggressive and cynical nature is fueled not only by his untimely disease but the racism of Jim Crow Meanwhile, Kahalan’s fiançé, Laura (28), hands-on, no-nonsense manager of the telegraph business, harangues Kahalan to settle into the role of dutiful husband and father. Kahalan, however, is hoping for one last adventure serving with the U.S Army in France. This dream is hindered not only by the necessity of getting medical treatment for Sonny, but by his missing ear which makes him ineligible for military service. Kahalan's eldest brother, Charlie (35), is a bi-plane pilot in the U.S. Army charged with reconnaissance and delivering army mail. When on leave, he romances the passionate Latina, Francine (30), and teams up with his 2 brothers performing barn-storming and daredevil feats for adoring crowds. In the nation’s capital, president Woodrow Wilson receives intelligence that Germany is conspiring with Mexico to attack the USA. The incriminating and historic Zimmerman telegram is filed in the German embassy in Mexico City. Wilson believes attaining this document is essential to gain support of Congress and the American people for joining the war in Europe against Germany. He orders its retrieval by any means necessary, a formidable assignment as Mexico is in the throes of a violent civil war. A short time later, in one of the few military invasions of American soil, Pancho Villa’s rebels, encouraged by German operatives, make a sneak attack on Columbus and burn the town causing great loss of life. With Kahalan hospitalized from a motorcycle stunt and Charlie momentarily out of action, Laura and Francine, step into the breach, wielding cavalry sword and shotgun to hammer the banditos. President Wilson orders General Pershing to lead a punitive force into Mexico. The retrieval of the Zimmerman telegram thus falls to Pershing who is ideally positioned to oversee the crucial mission. Kahalan and Sonny are also in Mexico at a TB sanatarium where Sonny is undergoing treatment. At the special request of Wilson, Pershing recruits Kahalan to retrieve the historic telegram from the British consulate in Mexico City. As Sonny recuperates and falls in love, Kahalan embarks on his perilous assignment. Riding his super-charged Harley through dangerous Mexican countryside and villages, Kahalan is pursued by Pancho Villa’s rebels and German agents. He calls on his daredevil talents to thwart his antagonists and avoids capture and death in several dramatic canyon jump incidents. He retrieves the telegram only to face certain capture by a murderous German motorcycle gang. With the Germans hot on his heels he is rescued by Charlie at the controls of his Curtiss bi-plane. The brothers reenact a dramatic maneuver lifted from their aerial show just as Kahalan’s Harley is forced over the cliff of an enormous canyon. With Kahalan safely on board, the bi-plane limps back to base, a ragged, shot-up wreck that Kahalan attempts to cobble back together in mid-air. The airfield is crowded with worried soldiers and General Pershing who cheer on the hair-raising landing. Thus the telegram is delivered to Pershing who sends it on to Washington allowing President Wilson to gain approval from Congress to enter WW1. As reward for his service, Kahalan’s status is changed from 4F to 1A (fit for duty) and he joins Pershing’s staff as communications officer. Sonny returns in good health from the Mexican sanatorium with Anna. Francine and Charlie become pregnant. Laura cajoles a promise from Kahalan to have enough children to field a baseball team once the war is over.

King of the Feather Wars
An inadvertent flying foreskin and a near crucifixion in a mango tree launch two country-singing teens, Beau and Annie, on an island-hopping romp across the Philippines.
Hard times set them to scamming cockfights with a lovable overweight rooster while Annie’s jacked, tricycle-racing boyfriend and his "Midnight Rocket" keep them one step ahead of the police and their homophobic stepfather.
But their luck runs out when Beau risks all at the Slasher Derby Championships. Shot on location in full sunlight, this is not a film for whiners, weepers, or weak-bladdered candy suckers.
