Story Synopsis:

Paper Moon meets Cinderella

In the Philippines three on-the-lam teen musicians are swept into the rarefied world of cockfighting as they flee cross-country in a beat-up tricycle one-step ahead of a warped stepfather bent on reclaiming his stolen battle cock. When street performances fail to support their frenzied escape they resort to scamming sabong matches with a scheme adopted from a Mark Twain short story. Comical quibbling over criminal strategies and ethical choices adds spice to the tale as the trio remain true-blue whenever the going get rough. A gritty coming-of-age adventure comedy.

King of the Feather Wars

An inadvertent flying foreskin and a near crucifixion in a mango tree launch two country-singing teens, Beau and Annie, on an island-hopping romp across the Philippines.

Hard times set them to scamming cockfights with a lovable overweight rooster while Annie’s jacked, tricycle-racing boyfriend and his "Midnight Rocket" keep them one step ahead of the police and their homophobic stepfather.

But their luck runs out when Beau risks all at the Slasher Derby Championships. Shot on location in full sunlight, this is not a film for whiners, weepers, or weak-bladdered candy suckers.
